I was driving home a little while ago, and for some reason this popped in my head to write this. I can’t explain why it did, but since it did, I need to do it.

I am going to try to make this very short, but I just want to make my point.

I need to say Thank You to the BOTH of you. And I really don’t think I can say Thank you enough. I know that you two write so much here, and everything that you do put down in words, are very ENCOURGEING AND VERY SUPPORTIVE, Too everyone.

I really don’t think that I have really responded to anything that you two write down in your threads, but as long as your journals’ are, I have read them, ok I still have a little catching up to do on them, but I do read them. (That is a lot of reading). But what I have read, from your journals, and what I have read in what you reply to others about to help them, has been a very very huge step in my recovery, those words that you two write, are so full of Love and Respect to the person you are writhing to. And I feel that if I didn’t have the words of you TWO, I would not have gotten this far on my road to a better life.

Don’t get me wrong, and this doesn’t mean that others don’t help. Without TTF in general my life, I would be deep in the hole at this point, not getting better. TTF is a big happy family, which loves and respects everyone that comes here for support. I can not ever think not coming to site again, because I love TTF, so much more than anyone really knows. I love and respect EVERYONE here

So I guess what I am trying to say, without hurting anyone else’s feeling, you TWO, have a SPECIAL place in my heart, by the way you deal with others.

Ok I did it, Im embarrassed, and I hope it was ok to do it.

Thank you Gerald for these wonderfully kind words! You are way too kind here but you have touched my heart!
There are so many positive and supportive people here at TTF and I feel priveledged to be a part of this great site! I have been inspired by many who have come before me and those who are still here working their hardest to step away from this soul destroying addiction. I see that the most successful people are often the most giving as well. It is their way of giving back. Success can also be defined as having a grateful heart. There are so many here who give much of themselves to support and prop up others! How wonderful is that? I see those qualities in you as well as so many others who are fortunate enough to have found us. There is nothing quite like the support of others who have walked your path to give you exactly what you need in your time of despair!
I am grateful to be here Gerald! I am grateful for all of my friends here at TTF! And I know you feel the same way!

Thanks for all the kind words. I thought you must have had me mixed up with someone else. Now Jenn for sure deserves all the accolades. Me I just try to stick my nose in every now and then if i think i can offer a bit of support.
It does feel really good to be able to help someone like you if only in a small way. When I came here I was lucky to have some great people support me and help me along.
I just hope you can get the same.
