There are many things that can positively influence you and take your mind off P. My favorites are as follows:
- Spending quality time with loved ones. Nothing can replace smile of those whom we love most, nothing...
- Inspirational, focused reading.
- Interaction with learned people and meaningful conversations that usually follow.
- Observing nature. Breeze in the trees is priceless, but to feel it as such, one needs clear, sharpened senses (something that P burns).
- Art (Graphic design, making posters)
- Chess. Amazing way of putting your fight on the board in a more abstract, bloodless, way. You can imagine that the black (evil) figures represent demons inside us, whilst the white ones correspond to our, essentially good, nature.
- Table tennis. Again, a way you can abstractly put yourself in dominant position against the urge. Ping-pong ball (urge) is very small in comparison to our rackets (our will).
