I agree with ThatWontBeHim :) - Doing anything. If you allow yourself to get into depression or just plain old apathy, you'll be drawn to it much easier.
The best thing that ever happened to me - a relationship that made my life meaningful, made my completely resistant to P for that period of time. Unfortunately, we broke up and, well, I'm fighting my battles alone now, but for that period of time, I didn't give P any thought whatsoever. And now, when I think abt that and go on living and fighting with the hope of winning back the love of my life, I lose all interest in P again. There's nothing like love :">
*Note: my fight for regaining love is based on self-improvement, so whatever happens I'll always gain something (and, hopefully, everything)
Also, I dance Serbian folklore (which is physically quite demanding) and it gives me a good vent for it. All things that require full concentration provide a good way out, too; like preparing exams, translating, writing, playing mind games... anything goes. I agree with all things said before, and I'm seriously considering the elastic band! :D
