Hey, Yrjana here, I'm also a new member of this forum, as well as a teenager. I've been a PA for about 4, almost 5 years, (since about 12 years old) and I'm now on the cusp of my 17th birthday. It's been a long and ugly struggle, but I think I'm finally starting to get it under control. It's good to see that there are other people my age who have recognised this problem, and are actively seeking to combat it.

Welcome to TTF. I'm also a bit of a noob here. It's a great place to meet people who are going through what we are going and to get help and guidance. I can relate to your struggle since I'm a bit older and started and the same age. Stay strong and good luck.

hello everyone,
this is paramtap from india.i am 17 and have been struggling with my addiction since i was 12 .it has been a little more than a month since i first introduced myself at the new members area.though haven't really been that active.
till now all my attempts to quit have been futile. 1 week is the max i could go without porn. but thanks to some people here i am no longer the hopeless person i used to be, in the sense that i believe that things can get better.
i am genuinely grateful to those who created this fabulous place for people like me suffering from PA.

Newguy here (literally). I'm 20, attending a University in mid-Michigan, and have been addicted for about 6 years with a few weeks of sobriety here and there.
Just joined today after I tried and failed at cold turkey (made it about a week).

Hey, I'm Gary, I've had a PA since I was 13 or 14. I never imagined what it would lead up to. I'm 23 now and until just a few years ago started to realize it might be an issue. Even when I thought it might be a problem I didn't take action, and now I'm regreting it.
I've met this girl that I know I could ask out, and I know she's probably waiting for me to, but I can't get passed when the time comes I won't be able to have a sexual relationship because porn is what I like most. Porn has a hold on me. It's not a constant addiction for me, but it's to the point where it is all that I know or enjoy. It's become a habit. I'm so angry with myself for the years that I've spent with this. It's going to take a long time to undo in my brain, but I'm so sick of it, I'm going to cut it out of my life if only for punishment. Hopefully though, It can lead into a healthy relationship one day. Until then, I can't bring myself to put my burdens on someone else.

Hello everybody! I am Robert (most people call me bobby), and almost just like Yrjana, I am 15 years old, almost 16, and I have been addicted to P since about the age of 12. The first time I ever saw P was accidental (due to the Internet, and Then my curiosity), and that was almost five years ago (I think I was about to turn 11 at the time).
I live in California and am a Junior in High School. I love watching anything on Disney Channel or TV Land. I love listening to pop-rock, alternative rock, some R&B, and pop music. I like cartoons, and want to become an animator and create my own cartoon series.
I believe that faith is VERY important, but struggling with P has weakened my faith. I am on a see-saw when it comes to believing in God, but related to my hope of being 100% (not 50 or 70%) P free is being at a place in my life where I can be on the right path of life and get closer to God.
I joined this website in June, but today was my first time on in quite a long while. I am happy and thankful that a website like this exists, too.
