      Default Personal Development - Self-help

Are many of the young men on this forum aware of good self-help titles or authors?

I personally know of a couple of good self-help audio series that have really helped me in guiding my life.

Not sure what you mean exactly.. self help in what respect? There seem to be hundreds of books written on how to get through college.. theres a teen version of Chicken Soup for the Soul... Sometimes I try to read them but never can stick with it, theyre too boring for me..

I mean writers of 'self-help' books. For example, a famous self-help book is 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill.

There is one author who I really like (if anyone is interested pm me). I don't like the authors that boast about 'magic techniques' with 'lightning results'. With everyone in life, its obvious that success comes in the long term, not the short term.

Hey there! Louise Hay has some really good books that have helped me, one of my favorite from her is 'You Can Heal Your Life' Check out books from Deepak Chopra, and Dr. Wayne Dyer as well. I know of some more just can't think of their names at the moment. :) I hope I helped a little.
