      Hey. I have been at recovery for quite awhile in other settings and on my own but one thing that I have missed is someone to check in with and to be honest with.

      I am married, 40, with a family. And would really appreciate having someone I could check in with on a regular basis.

      Hi.

      I see you are new to the website.
      I've been here a few years, but I am new to facing my issue with p head on, full heartedly.

      I can check in with you, regularly. We can use this forum thread that we're currently in for that.

      I don't have an internet connection at home at the moment--but I'll be able to view your check ins and make my check ins at least Monday through Wednesday.

      Thanks bird-boy. I will post m-w then to let you know how I am doing. Feel free to do the same if you want. I am in A 100 day challenge right now and on day 6. I have gone 60 before but am looking for lasting change.

      Just checking in today. How ya doing? Are you making progress? It's right about 10 days or so that I start really getting tempted... so, that's where I am.

      But I am staying strong... staying clean. Trying not to hedge at all.

      HI, JohnnyL. Sorry for not replying sooner--I've been really busy with homework. And also busy being lazy.

      Internet at home would make it easier to update, but also may be too big a tempter.
      I'm relatively okay; fell from urges (basic tv) a few times, but that has to stop happening. I'm going to figure out a plan of action, to halt urges.
      That's what I have found out that I need to do--wishful thinking that I won't give in doesn't seem to work. It's only part of the equation for me.

      How are you feeling this week? Did you have a good past 7 days?
