      Default TTF Organizational structure

      Hello everyone!

This message is to explain the organizational structure of TTF.

TTF has grown rapidly, originally the creation of a few dedicated people, we are quickly approaching 1,000 members and we are in the process of evolving our team, made up entirely of volunteers, to ensure that the community is moving in the right direction as the membership increases. TTF is a non-profit site and we are grateful to everyone who has offered help to keep this site organized and useful to new and old members alike.

It is imperative that as the community grows the usefulness and the great feeling that the site has had over the last 8 months can remain, and not be diluted and loose its power. It will be a challenge moving forward as we get more and more members to stay on target on not loose sight of our goals and commitment here.

The main goal of TTF is to educate people about the harms of pornography, for both the people who use it and their loved ones. That should always be our clear goal. Life is better without pornography.

The new structure at TTF is as follows. The site will now have two admins to help handle the extra load. "Admin2" (who will remain anonymous, as I have) is one of the original creators of the site and will be stepping in to help with our direction moving forward. Everyone on the site is familiar with "Admin" who is actually expressing the ideas of several people, now some of those people are stepping into a direct role on the site now that the volume of work to do here requires it.

Outside the Admins, which are at the top level of TTF, are the senior moderators, who have been here longest. They are: Dominus and Halfpint.

Next we have our wonderful mod crew, who are a bit newer but no less helpful: Anxiouslyengaged, Cmperry, and Vorlan. They will be contributing to the direction of the site and helping to execute the vision of the upper management at TTF.

Over the next few weeks we will be rolling out some new ideas and plans for the site, and further defining the roles of Admins, mods, and community greeters. Thanks again to everyone who contributes to make TTF a great place for support!

      Arrow Throughtheflame team change announcement

      Dear All,

It gives me great pleasure in announcing that Vorlan has agreed to join the admin team to assist with maintenance of the site and growth for the future. Over the years Throughtheflame has helped many PA's and SO's and this is primarily through each and every member contributing towards a community focused on facing their issues and assisting others to counter them.

Vorlan has been a long standing member and has made a significant contribution as a member and as a moderator. While Vorlan will still maintain his moderating duties he will now play a more active role in listening to members suggestions to improve this site while maintaining the true essence that has made throughtheflame what it is today.

Over the next few months the admin team will be keen to gain all members input as to how we can improve this site, so that we can collate all ideas and put into effect for 2010. So if you do have a suggestion I would encourage you to post in the suggestion thread, or simply send a private message to Vorlan, Rowlf, Dominus or myself, as ultimately this is your site, and our sole intention is give you the tools you need to aid your recovery.

Again, special thanks to Vorlan for volunteering his personal time to assist, and of course huge thanks to Rowlf, & Dominus in doing a fantastic job in the moderation of the site.

I would like to make a special note to Daniel aswell as it his time and efforts on this site have not gone unnoticed.

We will be looking to recruiting another moderator in due course, so if this is something that would interest you, please send a private message to myself or Vorlan advising us why you would like to help and how you think you can bring value.

      Many Thanks

      A2
