I'm so glad you started that site...but...I've tried reading through all of the posts that seem to be flooding in, and OMG i'm so overwhelmed with the psycho babble that seems to be emitted from alot of the users. It's sosoooo different than TTF, here there is a vibe of open arms, non judgemental, lot's of information not just definitions of disorders...I'm personally overwhelmed with the tone that alot of the posters seem to be taking about mental illness in particular, there isn't a lot of "how to live with it", but a whole lot of "it's defined as this,,,no you're wrong it's defined as that.." Ughh...I wish I knew where to step in to start the flow in a more possitive and helpful direction. Am I the only one that got this vibe? I know it's not anyones fault...I just don't know what to do to help it myself...thus me asking for guidance.

Peace and love,
Crys

No I too got this vibe a little, but from what I understand about forums TTF is very unique, there seems to be a common understanding and compasion here that isn't found just anywhere.

If I 'define' something as 'this', or tell someone what they 'should' do, 'should' think, or how they 'should' be doing things, please PM and let me know. I hope I stick to the IMHO, and just offer support, ideas, and overall acceptance. Thanks for everyone's support so far, and input, whether it's a definition or not.

It is a little overwhelming to see so many new people join, and so many new posts. I have yet to dig through so many of them, and often wonder when I look at those who have posted once or twice, where are they and how are they doing? Hopefully well, and hopefully finding their way regardless of if it's here or not.

This is my brand new day starting now, Letting go of the ways that I fall down. The old can be made new, the lost can be found...

AK,

My response wasn't for the tff forums...you guys are great, and you are becoming an amazing voice in this fight. I was talking about our sister site, recovery source. It's the one that's a bit overwhelming.

Peace and love,
crys
