About LinkBacksIt gives me great pleasure to be able to announce the winners - yes winners - of Member of the Year 2011 on the behalf of the TTF team.
JenMac and InNeedofHelp
The voting was so incredibly close this year that we decided to honour both Jenmac and INOH with the award as both of them so richly deserve it.
This is Jenn's second year running as MotY and it's easy to see why; joining the site in April 2010 she has made more posts than any other member in TTF history. (2770 right now!) Her presence is felt everywhere on the site and there are few if any members who have not been helped by her in some way on the forums. On the TTF team she is a valuble moderator and has become an indispensible part of the team.
Gerald joined us in December 2010 and has been an incredible support to many, many members. He is also one of our members most dedicated to his recovery. Despite achieving the 100 Days Goal four times, Gerald has not always had it easy in recovery but has got straight back up again whenever he has fallen down which is inspiring for everyone on TTF. In November 2011 Gerald was made moderator and has somehow still managed to keep posting at an astounding rate despite these added responsibilities.
Both winners are pillars of this site and it would be a much darker place without them there lighting the path. So congratulations to both of you for this well deserved honour!

The choice of Gerald & Jenn for "Members of the Year" is just so appropriate... as it takes two pillars to hold up this safe haven we all gather in day after day.

Congrats on this.
Two years in a row says a lot Jen. You have done nothing but helped so many here. It does not matter if it is an SO or an addict; you do what you can to show the love to all who are here. I know that it was you who was one of the very first to reply to my post when I started coming here. From day one you have helped me, and you still continue to do so. Please know that everything that you have said to me, I have taken it to heart.
There have been times when you needed to remind me that I am being selfish in my recovery, and I respect you so much for that. You are a very loving and kind person Jen, and TTF would not be the same, if you were not here, to give your much needed support.
2770 post at this moment. That just shows how many times you have helped us here with your kind words. It does not matter if it was something you wrote in your own journal, or if it was in some one else’s journal. I say this because, no matter where it is you write, we all got so much encouragement from what you wrote at that moment.
I am honored in sharing this with you, but right now, it is all about you. Please continue in doing what you do best here at TTF.
I have so much respect for you. Without you, I would not be were I am right now in my life

Do you have a internet filter installed on your computer yet?
If not, use K9 it is free, wont cost you a dime. not only will you save money, but you will save yourself from acting out.... Just a thought

Congrats Jen & Gerald. You both are just absolutely awesome! Every day it seems like the two of you are helping somebody. You guys are so dedicated to fighting against P addiction. What would TTF be without you guys? I can't even imagine it! I am so grateful that you guys are here to help others out. You all are the best!

I think it's also fair to say that I think many people on this site would have come very close to winning this award! I appreciate the assistance JenMac and InNeedofHelp have provided to me since I have joined, and I also thank everyone else for their help as well.

You are so right in what you said. as far as I am concerned, EVERYONE here in recovery, is a member of the year. this place would not be here if it was not for all of our loving and caring members
