Default Important Address to Members of TTF

      Dear TTF members,

As you are aware the TTF site administration has changed over the last 2 months. I am honored to be a part of this wonderful support group that we have here within this online community. I am also honored to give back to this site in an ongoing manner through dedication to keeping this site alive for all of us.
Our membership is steadily growing and I believe that it will only continue to grow as this addiction continues to cause hardship in the lives of many. I am hoping that TTF will be here to welcome the many who struggle, as they arrive at our doors, for a long time to come.

TTF is a wonderful resource which was started and continued by people just like you and I, who struggled with this addiction and its repercussions in our lives.
It is brilliant really, in its simplicity.
We help ourselves by helping others, gain support by giving support, give back what has been given to us. I am proud of what is being accomplished here.

      TTF is your site.
It is the people here that make this site what it is. I see many good things happening here. I see people reaching out to others in support and friendship. I see people sharing strategies and guidance. I see a welcoming, safe place for all our members whether new or established.

I am hoping that you will consider today what TTF has done for you in your recovery.
I am hoping that you can ask yourself what TTF means to you.
In order to protect TTF, and to make it the best it can be, for now and the future, we need to set ourselves up to support ourselves financially in the long term.
If everyone who is in a position to afford to give a little, could do so, it would mean that TTF could begin to pay for itself. That would help to ensure the continuation of the good that is happening here and ensure that we all have this safety net to count on in our time of need.

TTF is not a money making venture on anyone’s part. Any monies that are donated go to paying for monthly and yearly site fees. If there ever comes a point of having anything extra, that money would go back into the site in way of features that would make our site better.

I thank all of you who have donated to the site in the past. It was your generous donations that have assisted the previous admins to keep this site running to this point in time.
I am asking that each of you consider giving a small amount this Christmas to this site that is here for us 24/7.

I don’t know about you, but TTF has been a lifesaver for me. I am willing to give back.
      How about you?

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and all the best to you and yours in 2012!

      Best regards,
      Admin

The world is in a constant conspiracy against the brave. It's the age-old struggle: the roar of the crowd on the one side, and the voice of your conscience on the other. - Douglas MacArthur

"'Thou mayest rule over sin,' Lee. That's it. I do not believe all men are destroyed. I can name you a dozen who were not, and they are the ones the world lives by. It is true of battles - only the winners are remembered. Surely most men are destroyed, but there are others who like pillars of fire guide frightened men through the darkness. 'Thou mayest!' What glory! It is true that we are weak and sick and quarrelsome, but if that is all we ever were we would, millenniums ago, have disappeared from the face of the earth. A few remnants of fossilised jawbone, some broken teeth in a strata of limestone, would be the only mark man would have left of his existance in the world. But the choice, Lee, the choice of winning!" - East of Eden by John Steinbeck

Is there a P.O. Box or something for those of us who wish to donate anonymously?

Thank you 2frustrated for your interest in giving back. Unfortunately at this time, it does require a credit card to give a donation.
I understand and appreciate your desire to remain anonymous, as I feel the same.
I can assure you that any information that comes as a result of putting forth a donation, is kept confidential from anyone other than myself.
Paypal is a secure method of payment. I also believe there is a way to set it up to ensure your information is kept private. Perhaps you could look into that.
      Thanks again,
      Admin
