Getting the word out about this site?

Do you guys have any ideas or suggestions on how to get the word out about this website? Since the site is relatively new we aren't ranked that high in the search engines, it would be great to get the site more exposure.

We could encourage the members of the forum to post links on on blogs and other online conversations. For example, if there are ever articles or posts online about pornography, we could post a reply and include a link to this forum.

We have a Links list in the Resources section...do all of those websites link back to us? I presume so, but definitely contact them if not, and ask them to do so. Plus, organise link backs between here and any other related websites that members (or you yourself Admin, of course!) may come across? The more links to us from other websites, the better for search engine rankings...

FYI, I just told my bishop about this site, and encouraged him to take a look at it to see if it's something he would be willing to point others toward. I know he helps a lot of people who struggle with this, and I'm pretty sure he'll see the value of an online support group for pornography addiction.

My suggestion is that anyone else here who happens to be affiliated with any kind of church or congregation go and let their congregation's leader know about this forum, so that they can promote it to people they may be helping. I figure this would be good grassroots, word-of-mouth publicity.

Just wanted to let you know that Granada TV have added this site to the list of those they will recommend to people who are affected by PA.

I told them about how much I had appreciated the support I have had here and they looked at the site and have added it to their authorised list. The main programme that will recommend it is 'This Morning'.

Poor2nd, thank you so much! We really appreciate your help, this is fantastic news.

TTF is based in the US and I am embarrassed to say that I am not familiar with Granada TV, or the This Morning program. Could you, or any other visitors who are familiar with it elaborate? It would be amazing if we could record the show when it airs, if anyone has the ability to do that.
