Default TTF is recruiting a new moderator!

      Nominations are now closed.
The results should be announced in the next few days

Thank you to everyone who voted :)

      Hey everyone,

In response to suggestions made by members and to help us make TTF more helpful and accessable I'm please to announce that TTF is looking to recruit a new moderator.

All members are encouraged to nominate users they think would make good moderators. The TTF team will then decide on the best candidate out of those who have been nominated.

Each member can nominate up to 3 members by PMing (private messaging) their names and why you believe they would make a good moderator to myself or Admin2.

Please place the word "nominations" in the PM title.

When nominating please consider the following:

      * Who in your eyes, has selflessly helped many TTF members?
      * Who do you consider an asset to TTF?
      * Who do you think has proved themself to be a responsible and generous member?
      * Who would you be most happy to turn to for questions help and support?
      * Who has an understanding nature and is respected within the TTF community?

      FAQs

Can I only nominate people that have been members for a long time?
We won't put a restriction on how long people must have been a member to be nominated but please bear in mind that a nominee who has not been on TTF for very long will be unlikely to be selected for the position by the TTF team.

Does it matter if the member has had a relapse?
No it doesnt matter, What matters is what you feel about that member when nominating.

What if the member I want to nominate is no longer active?

Please only nominate members who have been active in the last month or two.

What if the member I want to nominate has been banned?
You will not be able to nominate banned members.

Can I change my mind later if ive already sent my nominations?

Unfortunatley no. Please think carefully about your nominations before clicking send.

Will I receive an acknowledgement following my nomination message?

No, unforturnately given the number of messages recieved we will be unable to send confirmation messages. We will however post a list of members we have recieved messages from in this thread.

If I have a question that isnt listed here what should I do?
      Please PM myself or Admin2.

How long do we have to nominate people?
The deadline for entries is 14th July 2010.

Should we check if people want to be a Moderator before nominating them?
No, don't worry about that. The TTF team will deal with asking whether people are interested when all nominations are in. Feel free to nominate anyone.

      Thanks,

      The TTF Team

The world is in a constant conspiracy against the brave. It's the age-old struggle: the roar of the crowd on the one side, and the voice of your conscience on the other. - Douglas MacArthur

"'Thou mayest rule over sin,' Lee. That's it. I do not believe all men are destroyed. I can name you a dozen who were not, and they are the ones the world lives by. It is true of battles - only the winners are remembered. Surely most men are destroyed, but there are others who like pillars of fire guide frightened men through the darkness. 'Thou mayest!' What glory! It is true that we are weak and sick and quarrelsome, but if that is all we ever were we would, millenniums ago, have disappeared from the face of the earth. A few remnants of fossilised jawbone, some broken teeth in a strata of limestone, would be the only mark man would have left of his existance in the world. But the choice, Lee, the choice of winning!" - East of Eden by John Steinbeck
