Default Anyone else not able to post while running Firefox v 3.6?

I'm not sure if this is a problem unique to my computer but i found that after updating to Firefox 3.6 I couldn't post to TTF.

The problem was solved for me by reverting to the older version Firefox 3.58 which is avaliable here: Mozilla Firefox 3.5

If anyone can post fine with Firefox 3.6 then post here and let me know, alternatively if you have the same problem I did then revert to the older version and then post to let me know. If this is a universal issue I guess I'll contact Firefox to let them know about the bug.

      Best wishes,

      Ben

      Hi Ben,

I've got this problem as well. I'm still on 3.6 and have a small workaround for anyone in a similar postion.

There's a a/A button on the top right corner of the editor. Click this and then you can use the editor to post. The formatting options look odd, but everything is basically useable.

I think there's a fix available for vBulletin that addresses this.

      Cheers Rowlf,

I'm back on 3.6 too now. I've had a look in the user options and you can set it to always use the alternate system by going into "Edit Profile" then "Edit Options" under "Settings and Options". At the bottom of that section you can choose your "Message Editor Interface". The default is "Enhanced Interface" which is apparantly incompatible. Switching to the "Standard Editor" will automatically select the working one so you don't have to click in the corner every post.

      Best wishes,

      Ben

I just reverted back to 3.5 using the link above and this post is indicating to me that I can post well.

I didn't even bother to uninstall firefox, I just installed Firefox 3.5 over 3.6 without problems.

I am on firefox 3.6 and when I post a reply, I copy the entire thing after writing it, but before saving it. If I've taken too long to write the reply, then, I usually have to log in again, or sometimes I have to refresh the page and then log in.

By copying it first, I can then go back to where I was and paste it into the reply box and resubmit it. That way I don't lose all I've written (and I write a lot! lol). It's a little bit of a pain, but I'm used to it now, so I don't think about it.
