Nominations for the Coveted Member of the Year Award of 2009 is now open!

Firstly all members should nominate 2 members names via PM to myself. Please place the word "nominations" in the subject line. Deadline for nomination entry is 30th December 2009

The top 5 nominations will then be entered into a secret poll.
All members will then have the ability to make ONE vote for who they think should be awarded the Member of the Year of Award.

The winner will be announced on Monday Sunday 3rd January 2010

The winner will be donned with a very snazzy badge against all their posts. They will also receive a prize worth $50.

When nominating please consider the following:

• Who has influenced you the most?
• Who in your eyes, has selflessly helped many TTF members?
• Who has made huge achievement in their own personal battle?
• If an SO, has the SO selflessly taken the time to understand and help others?
• Who has had problems, yet not been shy to talk about them and learn from them?
• Who do you consider an asset to TTF?

FAQs

Can I only nominate people that have been members for a year?
No you can nominate someone that joined yesterday.

Does it matter if the member has had a relapse?
No it doesnt matter, What matters is what you feel about that member when nominating?

What if the member I want to nominate is no longer active?
Please feel free to nominate, if they are in the top five, we will endeavor to contact them.

What if the member I want to nominate has been banned?
You will be unable to nominate banned members

Can I change my mind later if ive already PMd my nominations?
Unfortunatley no. Please think carefully about your nominations before clicking send.

Will I receive an acknowledgement following my nomination PM?
Unfortunatley not. Due to numbers of PMs received, this will not be feasible.

If I have a question that isnt listed here what should I do?
If its related to this award, then please PM admin2. For anything else, please PM one of the moderators first.

Thank you to all that sent in their nominations, It was great to see a good response!

The top Seven nominations were picked and are now available for all members to vote against the member they beleive deserves to be crowned as Member of the Year 2009, who will also receive a whopping $50 in Amazon Vouchers!

It gives me great pleasure on behalf of all the TTF team to announce that DANIEL has been crowned The Member of The Year for 2009 with a whopping landslide victory of over 70% of the votes!

Daniel joined TTF in July of 2008, and from that day has averaged nearly 3 posts a day, and became our first legendary member of the site. Statistics aside, Daniel has proved to be an integral part of TTF with his constant availability to help others on this site. Daniel is regularly one of the first to greet a new member, and as such has a huge impact in a the wider membership here, and the votes represent this in its truest form!

On Behalf of all at TTF, Daniel...Thank you for all your efforts and time that you dedicate to this site in helping others, as well as your own fantastic acheivments. You are most definatley a very worthy winner and I hope your newly donned badge will be worn with pride! (not to forget the gift of $50 on its way to you too!)
