Dear Throughtheflame Members,

Throughtheflame.org was brought to life in November 2007 by one individual who had a personal mission to help others. This man had personally gone through his own journey in trying to combat the addiction of pornography. He realised that there were very few actual sites and resources that were available to bring PA’s together and assist PA’s to join forces to help each other. With that and his own personal success it was his vision to create this site.

Over 2 years has past and sadly the TTF Founder now has increasing personal commitments and therefore has decided to step down from playing an active part in the direction of Throughtheflame. That said, he will always be known as the Founder, and I am sure you will all agree that this one man, and his vision has had a huge impact in all our lives.

The existing team at TTF have grouped together and are now determined more than ever before to push forward with the momentum that this site has already generated. To date over 3800 people have registered on this site, and there are currently over 2500 active members*, resulting in an average of just over 25 new posts a day.

We all know this is not an easy journey of recovery, nor is it widely accepted or easily mentioned to others, and that is why it is imperative that ThroughTheFlame.org is recognised as the primary source for all affected by this addiction.

Over the next few months, there will be a number of changes to the site, graphically and functionally. During this transition period, we would anticipate some disruption on the site; therefore your patience would be truly appreciated, as ultimately our objective is to make this site more meaningful and helpful for you.

2009 has seen some wonderful events, it is only right that a few should be highlighted here.

• 2009 saw the first TTF babies from Fairy G, Dominus, FoolishMind and Inshi
• 2009 saw our first Legendary member in Daniel for achieving over 1000 posts!
• 2009 Vorlan was crowned as member of the year for 2008, with an absolute flood of votes.

As a final note, I wanted to make clear that the current success of this site is solely down to you. Each and every member on this site, are helping others, others that may never have the courage to register and may simply read your posts as a guest, but take pride in the fact that you are doing something about your addiction, and always strive to make yourself a better person, and know that the true key to unlocking this addiction lays with you and you alone.

Thanks to the TTF team, although i am still new here compared to those who have bee fighting this evil war longer than me, i feel that this is a closely knitted family which i can trust
