Published Article Competition worth $100

Dear Throughtheflame members

We are pleased to announce a new competition to win $100 or £'s equivalent in Amazon.com / Amazon.co.uk vouchers.

To enter the competition you will need to create an article titled
"Am I a Porn Addict?"

The article should be your own words and no more than 700 words.

The article can be written in any style you wish i.e. first person , third person or even factual.

The winning article will be published online, and be available for searches on the leading search engines.

Final entry for articles submitted will be Friday 28th August, entries submitted after this date will not be accepted.

The author of the winning article will be announced by Sunday 6th September.

How to submit your article entries:

1. Create your article using word processor and save as a standard .doc document
2. Attach your article to an email and send to admin2@throughtheflame.org
3. Subject line of email should read [TTF username] + Article Competition
4. Within the main body of the email please confirm your username and a short paragraph about how you went about this task, and how you think it will help others

Any articles found to be plaguerised will be disqualified.

Dear all,

On behalf of all the TTF team I would like to sincerely apologise that this draw did not actually happen. TTF prides itself in being completely transparent and hence I would like to explain the reasons for this.

The primary reason that we did not have a draw was due to the fact that we only received 2 submissions. Now of course as per the rules we should have a made a decision out of those two. But the reasons against this was that we felt this was presented as an offer during a fairly low registrations and quiet period.

Therefore this competition has currently been frozen and will be reopened again in the new year. Those that have already submitted will be carried through, and judged in an unbiased manner against the rest.

Please note Throughtheflame is self funded and $100 is quite a big deal for us to just give away, so we really want to make sure we have the best of the best if we are going to pay for an article to be published on this site and dont forget this article will be on google and searchable by billions! So forgive us for expecting the best!

This thread will now be closed, but watch out for future annoucements as there are some exciting things to happen on this site in 2010.
