God, grant me the
SERENITY
to accept the things I cannot change
the COURAGE
to change the things I can
and the WISDOM
to know the difference.

May these be more than familiar words.
May I take the words to heart and discern what they mean to me
today, here and now,
as LIVING PRAYER

God, grant me these, please

Loving God, some of us need to know You still love us. We have screwed up, lied, betrayed, not been who You created us to be. We are PA's and SO's. We each need Your forgiveness and each other's forgiveness and understanding. Give us courage and strength to ask for what we need, clean hearts, clear minds, trustworthy actions. Help us tell the truth, help us live in truth and integrity. You are already present with us, remind us when we forget. Please. Amen.

Create in me, too, a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit in me, too!

Thanks for a better day, God!
For walking with me through it.
For the sunshine and the breeze.
For my lightness of spirit.

May it continue...
and
May You be with me when it doesn't, when it isn't
and
Remind me when I forget
that You are already here

God, I believe You are with me on this rollercoaster, that You never ever leave me alone.
But I sure feel alone sometimes, and scared.

I believe, but, Lord, help my unbelief!
I get it!
I get this prayer for the first time!

Thank You, God, for this flicker of understanding
and for reminding me that You are, indeed, already here!

Amen.
