Why not? I am not religious but I appreciate the intent of prayer/thought for my situation. Can't imagine why it would be annoying/unacceptable?

Sounds ok too me. hey i am here to get help along with many others. i love this site, and i take everything i read here to heart. if someone wanted to say a little prayer for me to help me, i will take them all. i need all the help i can get

I Encourage all who think they need it, to please give SAA meetings a chance.
Do you have a internet filter installed on your computer yet?
If not, use K9 it is free, wont cost you a dime. not only will you save money, but you will save yourself from acting out.... Just a thought

I echo the remarks above. I suspect there are many here like me who were religious, but that all got lost in the addicition, or conveniently picked up again and put down when it suited. Not sure the value of my prayers these days, but would welcome anyone else willing to say a few words on my behalf.

I pray for many here. I tell people that they are in my prayers from time to time and have never recieved any negative feedback. If I ever do, I'll still pray for them anyway!-Mell

Like the others, I appreciate the thoughts and prayers of everyone here. I think it is a lovely sentiment that people would care enough to pray for me! Everyone here is on a tough road and we can all use the positive energies of those around us to help pull us through.
