      Default Phases

I wanted to post and then ask for feedback, please.
I observed these phases as an addict and recovering addict .
Addict: lies , holds secrets within, manipualtive, depressed,
is constantly trying to stay clean but keeps relapsing. yo yo syndrome.
blames others, pride, selfish, anger, emnity, low self esteem, lowself
body image, moody, never satisfied or content, acts out in various ways.
isolation, compulsive behaviours. These are things I noticed maybe your lists would
have other things on them I missed .

Recovering addict: goes to recovery meetings, supports others in their recovery, prays, reads Scriptures, wants to be invoved in family activities,
believes that Relapse is not an Option and thinks and behaves in a way that it cannot occur.
Knows what the triggers are and how to avoid eliminate or at the least cope with them.
seeks help and asks for it. Humility, helpful service to others without expecting anything in return.
sets good worthy goals for the future and earnestly and sincerely strives to achieve them.
expresses love and grattitude . Feels freedom from addiction. no guilt no shame. admits promptly when wrong.
does not shift blame. wants to forgive, be forgiven, be trusted ,and to make ammends. Is Patient, kind, thoughtful, and knows the boundries and does not try to go to the edge.
Is in control of emotions does not let anger take over and consume. desires to stay clean and sober and alert and awake. not bossy or controlling. learns from past mistakes and does not repeat them .
well thats it for my version. Take care , TIM
