      Default Day one

Today is day one for me. It has been tough ,the cravings have been intense and constant throughout the day even more so after I returned home from work, at least at work l could keep myself busy and just focus on the task at hand. After work I tried to keep myself busy, did a lot of chores, and even went out and got myself a new pair of shoes. However after a full day of doing stuff I got tired and stoped to rest and that's when the cravings hit me the hardest. I sincerely hope that the cravings dicrease in intensity and frequency or I'm afraid l won't last more than a few days. I'll try doing something so I can keep my mind occupied. Evenings are difficult, l can't wait to go to bed. At least when I'm sleeping l can't be tempted. Wish me luck and fortitude.

Don't worry, they do. I've been clean and sober for just over seven weeks, and the past few days I'm not sure I felt any cravings at all.

The urges do decrease with time & staying vigilant. Just be ready for when you let your guard down it hit you like a ton of bricks. I was in that state the other day, but I was able to fight it off. It may not seem like now, but your a lot stronger than you think. Stay strong, my friend. Stay strong. Were here when you need us.
