Well! Day one. Thank you dave42 for suggesting looking at everyone else's posts and keeping a journal - Heldback said something relevant when he mentioned posting here always to maintain accountability. That is definitely something I believe in and I will be trying to post here at least once a day, however briefly, to keep myself accountable and also to learn from all the people here. I've got a hectic week of midterms coming up (I'm a university student in Canada) but I will do my best to keep coming back here.
I've been reading a lot of posts from people and if there's one thing to take away, is that this a problem that can certainly dog me throughout my life - in truth it's an idea that scares me and I commend all of you for patience with this struggle.
Anyways, that's my bit for the day, thanks everyone for your comments and advice and I hope you enjoy success today!

Hey, Ali! I'm glad that you are starting a journal. I also understand how busy you must be as a student. Good luck with midterms! Yes, you are absolutely right: this is a problem that can dog us throughout our lives. Sigh...I'm so glad you are dedicating yourself to overcoming this problem at your age. You might slip up, but try to get right back on the wagon if you do. I'm not saying that you will, or that you shouldn't take your being clean very seriously, but I am saying that I really hope that come what may you will be able to stay committed to a life free of porn.
