I was good for almost four days, and I was feeling great about it, and then I gave into porn twice today.
I need help. What do I do? Where do I start again. I might have heard some of it, maybe even most of it before, but tell me anyway.

Welcome to the site Atrus,
I think the most important thing to remember when you relapse is despite all the guilt and anger you feel at failing you are not back to square one. Think of it as walking down a path. When you go P free you start walking down a path which will lead you to becoming totally free of P. If you walk for four days in the right direction but return to P for half an hour. You aren't back to the start. You just have to get back on the path and pick up from where you left off. Don't think about failing think about the four days you were clean for. Use that slip as an oppurtunity to learn more about your triggers and plan how you will avoid that trigger next time. Victory against P takes time and effort but you can do it!
Get back on your feet and start walking again. Try to keep positive and take things one day at a time. I'd suggest starting a journal to try to organise your thought. You can and you will beat this.
The best of luck to you,
Ben
The world is in a constant conspiracy against the brave. It's the age-old struggle: the roar of the crowd on the one side, and the voice of your conscience on the other. - Douglas MacArthur
"'Thou mayest rule over sin,' Lee. That's it. I do not believe all men are destroyed. I can name you a dozen who were not, and they are the ones the world lives by. It is true of battles - only the winners are remembered. Surely most men are destroyed, but there are others who like pillars of fire guide frightened men through the darkness. 'Thou mayest!' What glory! It is true that we are weak and sick and quarrelsome, but if that is all we ever were we would, millenniums ago, have disappeared from the face of the earth. A few remnants of fossilised jawbone, some broken teeth in a strata of limestone, would be the only mark man would have left of his existance in the world. But the choice, Lee, the choice of winning!" - East of Eden by John Steinbeck

I so much agree with what Vorlan said about slipping up . I have gone without p several times. Sometimes I go three weeks, sometimes only one. Once I did seven weeks. Everytime I try means that I'm removing p from my life and start to pick up new activites and interests. If you try often enough you will change things in your life and the struggle will turn in to a choice that you want for yourself. Good luck and stay positive!
