      Default Enjoying the MUNDANE.

      Good Morning Gang,

It is raining today and things are dreary and dark. The weather got me thinking about how, even though our lives can be mundane at times, there is still joy in that seemingly unexciting place. What could possibly be joyful about the mundane? The fact that you are staying on the straight and narrow. The fact that you are not hurting or deceiving the ones you love. The fact that you are pushing through another day without "p". The fact that you are being strong!

I know that in the past, whenever I had nothing to do I would turn to "p" to keep things exciting. Not today and that's a good thing! I don't need to be overly stimulated. I am simply enjoying the quiet and the peace. I am enjoying knowing that I have been strong for a long time now and that has led me to more peace of mind than I have had in many years! It's great.

      Stay strong everybody!

Yours in the bond of healing,

      BestShot

Yeah, I'm not quite there yet but I see what you mean, about having turned to P in the past for a quick boost. It seems to drag you down as it sucks time away that I would have rather spent doing something else, something more constructive or artful.
