My Integrity Contract

In an effort to provide a more complete commitment to my recovery, I drafted up a recovery contract which I have titled, "Appointment to Living with Integrity."

I chose integrity because I feel that integrity composes many of the elements I wish to embrace in a life free from P. Integrity is defined as 1. Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. 2. The state of being unimpaired; soundness. 3. The quality or condition of being whole or undivided; completeness.

For me, this says a lot about the direction I would like to go and the life I intend to live. Therefore, I drafted up a contract designed to aid and remind me, in physical form, about my commitment to freedom from P addiction and my commitment to live my life in a new, better way. I printed it out and signed it, placing it in a safe place.

If anyone finds it helpful to be utilized in their own recovery, I have attached a copy for download which you are welcome to use however you like. (It is a .doc file, but I had to .zip it due to the site's size restriction on files.) I also welcome any feedback in terms of changing wording, clarification, etc.

Good idea, thanks for sharing. I've had moderate luck with keeping it real simple for myself:

1. don't look at P and 2. don't MB for 100 days... so far so good.
