Thanks for the response... so far what you all have said rings true (not surprisingly) - I've had maybe 2 days in a row without even thinking of P or MB - but than it comes up - just like a craving for pasta or anything else I find satisfying on some physical or emotional level. 30 days so far - feeling strong and unshakable right now.

For me, the more I learned about the reality of P, how badly these people are treated, what it does to your mind and how it hurts those around you when you use, not only did my cravings dissipate, I actually got more and more revolted at just the thought of P. I'm a firm believer that education is paramount in trumping this addiction.

Zachary! Thank you, that is a fantastic comment. This is just what I need, please tell me - what are the best ways for me to get educated on this topic so I can begin to develop the aversion and disgust to P you speak of? This really rings true for me... I remember how easy it was to become vegetarian after watching "Meet your Meat", "Food Inc" and a few other documentaries on the meat packing industry - the education made the rest easy. TIA.

There are quite a few postings on this site about the dark underworld of p. Just search for them and you'll find them.
