Default What was the medium of exchange when you first begin using P?

We all started somewhere in our PA in regards to the medium of exchange.

hmmm some of us are old! You forgot stone tablets.

Also, what if it was a combination of mags and VHS?

Sometimes it required no outside stimuli .
On occasion, it grows from very early childhood and the coping strategies we use to deal with insecurity/stress.
e.g. a toddler growing up in a tense home where there's marital strife, arguments etc, will resort to MS in order to soothe themselves.
Later on,as the child reaches pubescence, visual stimuli may be added.
Many times, we are a product of our infant subconscious.
When we come to terms with this we learn how the pattern has been formed.

In the 70's when I started, it was magazines, than sneaking into adult theaters as a teenager, and also reel to reel movies. VHS didn't come until a LITTLE LATER although it existed, video stores hadn't become popular yet and those little P rooms they all started to have! That pretty much ended the need for magazines, P theaters, and the primitive reel to reel collection I had! All this really shows my age, lol!

It's good be to be 7 months clean though! :)

For me it was the PB's in my uncles bathroom. He had big swimmimg pool and we would go to his house in the summer. I still wonder why my parrents we're not suspiciose when I spent more time in the bathroom than in the pool. I was 5....... and the centerfolds all over the walls at my dads welding shop that he took me to on occasion.

Also voted in the poll to answer for my H. It was PH and Hustler magazines, way before I met him. It was a time when this was marketed as open and healthy stuff. What a load of crap.

Internet made it waaay worse. No more embarrassing need to buy magazines and face a store clerk in our small town.
