I feel it's best to post this to all, rather than one. The message is to much, for one to only hear.
Here goes. Some of us here, know what it's like to be in the dark. To be in a place, where we cry out, but only to find an echo. We search and try, and keep looking for something to guide, but we never really find it. We look for things to depend upon, so as to help with the task of refraining from negativity.
My friends, I feel your pain. We all have lived it. Problem is, we keep doing it to ourselves. Why? Because, there is something that drives us. What is it? The possibilities are endless.
What is good for one man, is harmful to another, so the old saying goes. My story is no different, nor is it any longer. The one thing we all share, is it's like a bad memory we don't know what to do about.
What I found, is that through the darkest times, do I realize the most. Yes, I took the hard way to getting closer to God, or the thought of. But, in the long run, what I feel the driving force is, is that we long for a release of thought. To feel no pain. Love, acceptance, and control. But, do not take the blame wholey upon yourself. For society has bombarded men and women with all sorts of abnormal norms, that we now are awaking to the fact that these are wrong, yet, those who speak up are labeled as wrong.
If you are here seeking answers you will only find them, in your heart. If you are here, to give truth, you will only find it in giving. Do not hold yourself in hate or disgust. Instead, look deeper, for the real reason. Do not give up.
I believe the many reasons as to why we feel this way, is that it hinders our ablilty to love. To be true. To feel. I have felt your pain. You have felt mine.
There is a Tibetan saying, " I know who you are, O builder of the house. From now on you shall build no more!"
Take that with you, and begin to see that what we need, is more self discapline, because no body, not even God, will give it to us, unless we do it for ourselves.
Thank you~
