About LinkBacksI was looking for an online support group for my "friend" with a PA. He thinks he can counquer this addiction by himself. I know you need support from people who have been there. When I found this site I thought it would be just what he needs! I told him about it last week then randomly asked him yesterday if he checked it out. He said he did but, was denied membership. How does this happen?

Why would someone be denied membership?

The one thing that I know of is someone who requests a screen name that could trigger others.

We get a lot of computer programs trying to create accounts to spam with. Unforturnatly because of this the admins have to manually approve every account. Your friend's registration was probably mistaken for one of these automated accounts - other than an innapropriate user-name as LLT suggested this would be the only way a person could be denied membership.
Please encourage them to try again and if they find the same problem let me or A2 know and we'll sort it out.

That's right :) Click on my username and it will bring up a drop-down menu. Click on the one which says "Send Private Message to Vorlan" and that will send the message to me privately. That way your friend's e-mail address will remain private. :)
