Wink Something to make you SOs smile...

Went to see the movie Larry Crown tonight. Julia Roberts is my new hero .... If it can happen to her it cam happen to anyone!!! (I do know it's just a story!). Also had some brilliant belly laugh moments. Great for the soul.

Glad you enjoyed it so much, Enuff! I'll keep it on my radar. I've always liked Julia Roberts, but I don't know if my h likes her more, if you know what I mean. Some movies I save to go see with the girls. No triggers for you in the movie? Movies are often very triggering for me, though I do love to watch a good story. Lately, all we've been watching have been the old b&w's, b/c I feel safer. There are more current movies my h wants to rent, that I'd like to rent too, but they are at the bottom of the list, b/c I fear the triggers. If I am triggered by watching the previews, then it stands to reason I am going to feel triggered by watching the actual movie, too. Who wants to go through that for 2 hours? Not me. I feel bad for my h not getting to see the movies he'd most like to see, but it is what it is for now.

Hadn't really thought about it from a triggering POV to be honest. The film was very clean apart from 2 scenes where the PA is briefly seen using the computer. Julia isn't seductive and she deals with the PA in quite a hilariously strong way. It is a side storyline to the main story so isn't really focussed on except to explain (in part) Julia's characters prickly, disappointed in life outlook. In saying that, I went to see it with the girls!!! And probably wouldn't want to see it withmy PA. This really has made me realize that I don't know what my PAs triggers are (except for the ones where he uses me as an excuse "you were grumpy morning"). I don't know if he looks at women in movies or at the beach etc and that triggers him. I really have no idea!! There is no way that I can imagine him telling me either. He is of the zero communication persuasion. Thanks for your response TooSensitive. You made me think!!!
