Okay, since this is all about men. Let's compare.
Ladies, do you perve on good looking men? How often do you see really good looking men?
What goes through your mind when you see a great looking man?

Hi rosie,
I have never really noticed guys when I've seen them. What I mean is, I've never been impressed by muscles, tans, hair, smiles, builds...etc. Whenever I've noticed a guy it has usually been because they were acting like a gentleman, being so sweet and endearing to their wife/gf, not taking their eyes off their partner in a restaurant or their sense of humor. And yes, I've been jealous of it at times but not "wanting" them.
To be honest, when I see a "good looking" guy I just think he's good looking. Nothing more. I think that is part of the problem for me. I don't understand the fantasy part.
We were just talking about this on our vacation and when we saw girls getting their pictures taken with the "thunder from down under" guys I was laughing because I found it ridiculous.
Maybe I'm not the right one to answer this, lol. I've always like people because of the way they are and not how they look.

I used to think I was "different" or "wierd" because when I was an adolescent, the other girls would say things like "oh he has nice body" or "oh look at his muscles" or "cute butt".....and I never was interested in that. I always found attractiveness in their face. If they had a face that I liked, thats when I would deem them attractive. The face and the eyes.
And yes, I tried to be like everyone else, and would play along with the scoping out hot guys....but never found it worth anything.
I think when girls are "scoping"....it is because guys do it, and they think we are supposed to do it too. Good for the goose, good for the gander. I equate all of this to my teenage years, and how teenage girls act. Today, I find it quite immature to think and do these kinds of thing.

AND....when I do see an attractive man today, I acknowledge that he is attractive and don't go anywhere else with it. Now, I must admit, sometimes when I have been very angry with my husband for his thinking he has a right to drool over other girls, and i see an attractive man...I allow myself to go further with my thoughts. Been then feel guilty about it. It is more of a "well, if he can then I can"....this kind of thinking leads to trouble.

I've never "scoped". On the rare occassion I will notice when I see a handsome man (and he'd really have to be "stunning" for me to notice) and the only thing I think to myself is, "He is handsome." It stops there. I don't even have to stop myself from going any further into thought - because I just don't go there. There is no desire to go anywhere in my thought process but to acknowledge that someone is handsome.

OMG, I thought I was weird. But seems that you ladies are the same!!!
Maybe I am a little more extreme...
I don't notice attractive men. Ever. I have never been interested in "hot" celebrities either. Never ever!
If I see a very attractive man (which is incredibly rare... probably like 3 times a year?), I just think "He looks nice", and then I move on. Attractiveness for me is based on their clothes, pose, and friendliness of their face. The only men who attract me instinctually are tall men. For some reason I can't stop noticing them. But I don't perve..in a sexual way. Ever. I thought this was weird!!!!
I don't do any sort of fantasy...I am really not interested.
When I was younger, my friends would all go to "Wild boys afloat", those male strip places.....I always thought it was abhorrent and completely unattractive. Really cheap and tacky!!!

I only went out of peer pressure. I honestly found those males really unattractive. To me, men who are egomaniacs strutting around like they are Gods gift to women.... are vomit-worthy. EWWW!
My friends were stuffing money down their pants though. Yuck! I just don't get it.

I say ditto to this with exceptions, and only one that I've ever taken any farther than just an acknowledgment of their looks (and good acting skills as applicable).
In order they are:
1. John Travolta
2. Noctemmyth aka. Mr. Cupcake (This new name cracks me up)
3. Bruce Willis
4. Vin Diesel
I never really got into the whole "checking guys out" thing but the day I first met my BF I was a typical pre-teen love sick puppy. And it's even worse now that we are adults ROFL.

LOL ok since we're sharing.
I find older men a little more attractive. Weird huh?
Sean Connery is a bit of alright. And maybe Steven Siegal, but it's only because they are portrayed as clever in movies.. it's not about how they look really. Okay, hiding now. Never been a fan of the brad pitt look, or the men who are obviously "sex symbols". I also like professional looking men and nerdy intellectual professor types, but again, not objectifying..its about their intellect!
I also know that when I see a man holding a baby or interacting with little children in a loving way...my heart melts. Biological attraction no doubt!
What's with the girly looking men these days? The ones without hair or any masculine features? Not a fan. Not a fan at all!!!!!
I also think my husband is gorgeous..
CCM...John Travolta...seriously???? LOL Must have been that spandex in Greece ;)
