Well if it's something you both enjoy then it was worth every penny! My husband likes games just not too into guitar hero, he has thick fingers so it's hard for him to push the keys, we've been hooked on lost oddysey for like a month now. oops sorry i'm getting all off subject here

Teardrop by Massive Attack is a great song. It's the theme to House. It actually has vocals, they just use the intro and outro as the theme.

At last! A music thread! I'm into a lot of music, I tend to like everything from black metal back down to folk and blues. I don't usually like modern R&B or rap, Drum&Bass and hip hop. But there are a couple of exceptions to that rule. My favourite artists are without a doubt:
  1. Bob Dylan
  2. Pink Floyd
  3. NIN (Nine Inch Nails)
  4. Bright Eyes
  5. Gogol Bordello
I'm not too certain about No. 5 Gogol Bordello are amazing but there are so many other amazing bands too.

I'm also into Within Temptation, Led Zepplin, Woody Guthrie, Arlo Guthrie, Muddy Waters, Manu Chao, Simon and Garfunkel, Joan Baez, Motorhead,Iron Maiden, The Beatles, HIM, Cradle of Filth, The Cheiftains, Meatloaf, Marc Almond, Suicide Machines, Pete Seeger, Neil Young, Syd Barrett, 10CC, 36 Crazyfists, David Bowie, Chris Rea, Seether, Dream Theatre, The Specials/Special AKA,The Beautiful South, Black Sabbath, Anti-Flag, E!E, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, The Clash, Ed Alleyne-Johnson, My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World, Leadbelly, Yes, Bullet for my Valentine, The Used, Saosin and probably a lot more that I can't think of at the moment.

As for favourite songs I'll try:
  1. Visions of Johanna - Bob Dylan
  2. High Hopes - Pink Floyd
  3. Arc of Time - Bright Eyes
  4. Shooting Star - Bob Dylan
  5. Forces of Victory - Gogol Bordello
  6. Head Like a Hole - NIN

I love music :-)

I'm into punk and some ska... eg, Conflict, Bad Religion, Mad Caddies, Rancid, Swingin' Utters etc.

But i play classical guitar. I have done some rock and quite a bit of jazz as well, but classical guitar is my main love. I also used to play piano, flute and timpani.

So don't be too forthright about what you think that I should be, And I'll willingly accept your low opinion of me.

Yeah it's funny, I listen to a lot of metal, rock and punk but when playing guitar I like doing acoustic folky songs.

Not much to be honest, I'm allways finding new bands that I ought to be listening to so its hard to keep up with them all!

At this moment in time, I'm listening to Murderers by John Frusciante. Awesome song.

Shelter from the storm is a great one! I'll have to look into the Wallflowers a bit more I can see! I'm always amazed at how many old Bob Dylan videos there are avaliable on the internet. Youtube is a particularly good resource. I'm careful to only use it when I'm feeling strong though as it's a temptation heavy site.
