      Wink Tetris

I would just like to say that having checked out the arcade, my husband has now added Tetris to his list of games never to play with me (above Boggle and Set, possibly)...see, there is a price to pay for a mis-spent youth: I'm out of friends/relatives to play these games with now! :D
On the plus side (um?) he has now officially classed me as a computer geek, a status I thought I would never achieve given that he works in IT and I most certainly don't. Wahay, does that count as a promotion of sorts?
Anyway, possiblities of androisism aside (though I wonder if that could have its advantage some days) I think Tetris is a great way to enter into a modern sort of Zen meditation...if you can tune out your thoughts and the environment surrounding you, it's amazing what your body can do ;)
(I might just avoid the other games in the arcade until I have really free time, however...this purloined nap time could be put to better use than advancing my snakes score, methinks )

Last, but by no means least, courage - moral courage, the courage of one's convictions, the courage to see things through. The world is in a constant conspiracy against the brave. It's the age-old struggle - the roar of the crowd on one side and the voice of your conscience on the other.

I remember playing a racing game once, where I was doing a long, long race on an oval track, and somewhere around the middle part of the race, I spaced out, and the next time I realized I should look at the screen, I'd finished ten laps. Pretty wild.

I remember tetris from the original nintendo, oh man that game was awesome! I am addicted to this mmorpg runescape, and I love all the games on miniclip.com (that and they seem to have less innappropriate ads as the other game sites) motherlode is my fav. from there!!

Yah I understand, makes me feel like a dork to, then I log on and realize what an awesome dork I am! hehe. Takes too much concentration tho, havn't played in a month or so.

Yeh, I remember sometimes it took just way too much time and effort to advance some of the skills. I remember getting to somewhere like level 40 in most skills and then I finally decided that it's enough, I can't just play it all day long :) But it sure was entertaining.
