      Smile Breaking news!

Well, not having a journal of my own to post in, I'll write here instead for anyone who feels inclined to pop by and see what my news may be :D

I'm joining the TTF ranks of incubators, it seems, as we recently found out I'm pregnant again!

Already it's vastly different from the first time around, and I have everyone here at TTF to thank for that:
      THANK YOU!!!!!!

I will admit, I am occasionally beset by memories of the stresses of dealing with my hubby's PA during the last pregnancy, and the deep-set paranoias of "what if" that arise every now and then...but on the whole I can relegate those thoughts and feelings to the archives - or if necessary, drag some reassurance out of my husband to take my mind off any particularly persistent past-PA worries :D

I'm sure that the lack of stress in my life, predominantly due to not having to worry about my husband's PA any more, is contributing greatly to the fact that I have been feeling really good so far...if, perhaps a little tireder than usual, which is to be expected (I never really had such a personal grip on the phrase "bone tired" until recently!).

So here's to a completely different pregnancy, birth and first year to that of my first child! (But of course, an equally wonderful babe to add to our now far-more-cohesive family unit).

Well there it is, my news. And now, I'm going to go and lie down until my toddler wakes up ready to run me ragged all afternoon...oops, too late, I hear the call of "mummy" coming down the hall!!!

      :)

Awesome, I am so pleased for you. You have infected so many people here with your cheerful and happy disposition, you deserve all the happiness you get.

Perhaps a side effect of TTF is happier families, better relationships, more 'Incubations'

The world is in a constant conspiracy against the brave. It's the age-old struggle: the roar of the crowd on the one side, and the voice of your conscience on the other. - Douglas MacArthur

"'Thou mayest rule over sin,' Lee. That's it. I do not believe all men are destroyed. I can name you a dozen who were not, and they are the ones the world lives by. It is true of battles - only the winners are remembered. Surely most men are destroyed, but there are others who like pillars of fire guide frightened men through the darkness. 'Thou mayest!' What glory! It is true that we are weak and sick and quarrelsome, but if that is all we ever were we would, millenniums ago, have disappeared from the face of the earth. A few remnants of fossilised jawbone, some broken teeth in a strata of limestone, would be the only mark man would have left of his existance in the world. But the choice, Lee, the choice of winning!" - East of Eden by John Steinbeck

Rowlf, Admin2, Dominus, Inshi, Vorlan, FoolishMind - thank you for your lovely replies :)

Sorry for my delay in replying properly - I've been attacked by "morning" sickness and it's taken up all my spare time! So here's hoping this phase passes MUCH faster than it did last time, I'm off for acupuncture on Monday to see if that can ease it.

Admin2 - and FoolishMind in your echo - I definitely hear the voice(s) of experience re sleep! I heartily second your wishes for us in that regard, as I yawn at the computer screen now. (Thinking ahead, I suspect this Christmas may be one where I'm not exactly participating with my usual energy levels, given that the babe's due on December 11th :D )

Dominus, that's a great side effect for TTF's work, isn't it? I think we should put that on the front page as a benefit of succeeding!

Inshi, I'm happy to be in the club! I only wish the morning sickness had stayed away for me also, but oh well...at least I know it won't last forever! (Oooh, I sound so positive and accepting of it - pity such acceptance only appears in between the nausea waves!). But this pregnancy is already so much better than the last on emotional and mental levels, and my husband is so much more attentive and considerate, that I can't even stay annoyed at the nausea too long when I'm not actually throwing up. (Exhausted and distracted by it, yes, but annoyed not nearly as much!)

Yes, TTF definitely has a lot to answer for ;) Will be back more regularly when I've stopped feeling so ill, love to you all until then.
