      Hello everyone.
I am female and have been in recovery a very long time. I hope I abbreviated ok.(30 years from being on the streets, 15 years from exh, and 4 1/2 years from binge relationships and P & M)
It wasn't until my husband saught help that we found your site and find it very beneficial.
So I am on both sides of the fence. Although I will mostly be on the partners board, I wanted to make myself available to any women in recovery.

Thank you, if more info needed, please let me know. Since I am new to the site, I didn't want to trigger anyone by going into my story.

      Hi StillinLove!
      Welcome to TTF!
I am glad you have found your way here, and it seems that your H has as well. I think that is great! Being here together is a good thing. My H and I have been here together of about 19 months now and we have found much support and friendship here. I hope you find that as well.
Your situation is a little unique in that you are on both sides of the fence. I havent seen that that much around here, and so you will be able to offer a unique perspective and support to any struggling with similar problems.
I encourage you to start a journal in whichever forum you feel most comfortable in. Writing your story down can be so healing! Be sure to read the site rules if you are concerned about what may or may not be acceptable to post. You can find the rules here: http://www.throughtheflame.org/forum...rum-rules-167/
Wishing you all the best in recovery! I hope you find TTF to be the blessing to you that it has been to me!
      Jenn

I would like to welcome you here to TTF.

You said that you are o both sides of the fence, but you will be mostly in the partner board, well all I can say is that, you will find all of the support that you need, in all that you are going through.

I do respect that you have a fear in triggering, if you were to write your story here. But I do encourage you to write it. But with that said, we try to maintain this site in being a SAFE place to come to get help in recovery. So if you want to tell your story, we want to hear it, but all that we ask, is be careful in what you do write.

You can find these in our site rules, and it would be good to read the rules, if you haven’t done so yet

I wish you the best in your recovery. Whether you want help in PA or support from other SO's, I am sure that you will find what you are looking for here at TTF. And if your husband hasn't joined TTF yet, I do hope that he decides to come here for help also
