      Default A Long Road Ahead

Hello everyone. I am a woman struggling with P and M addictions and, after roughly six years of dealing with these, am finally taking a stand and saying enough is enough. I've struggled with these addictions for so long and they are so ingrained in my life that I know the road to recovery is going to be hard. That is why I was so grateful to find this forum and I knew I just had to join. I look forward to taking this journey with you all, offering support where I can and leaning on others when I feel I can't handle my recovery.

Welcome, esther. I, too, think it's going to be a long and sometimes bumpy road. This is a good place. I definitely know what those lean-on-others kind of days are like.

      Best,
      John

I want to welcome you, to TTF. I can tell you right now, that this is one of the best choices you have made in your life, to get rid of this addiction.

This addiction has a hold on so many people now days. And this addiction does not care if you are male, or female. All it cares about, is having a grip on you, and wanting you, to sink deep into the world of this addiction. But now, that you are here for help; you have a CHOICE, to have this crap out of your life for good.

You also have a CHOICE, in how your recovery goes for you. Is it going to be too hard to handle, or is it going to be a little bit smoother road for you? That answer is up to you.

Anyone can beat this addiction, if it is their HEARTFELT, desire and motivation, to rid themselves from this. It has to be a HEARTFELT desire, to find a good recovery plan that works for you, and stick with your plans. It has to be in the HEART, to want to fight this addiction, because believe me when I say, It will do all it can, to fight you, because this addictions, does not want you to get rid of it.

Many feel that they are powerless over this addiction, but I say, that is just an excuse. We all do have control over our lives; it is just a matter, in learning how to have this control. This addiction has had control over you for the past 6 years. So now is the time, for you, to show this addiction, just who it is, that controls your life.

No it will not always be easy for you to fight this addiction, because no matter where you go in life, this addiction followers all of us around. But if us addicts, learn what it is, that makes us act out, and find ways, to overcome what it is does triggers us, then we can make this recovery a lot easier for us..

We are here for you. We are here to do all that we can, to make this journey a little better for you. We can not cure you in any way, but what we can do, is be by your side, to offer you the much needed Support, and Encouragement that we all need, in this recovery.

So fight this addiction with all you have in your HEART, and I am sure, you will come out a winner in this recovery.

I wish you the best in all you do here, with your recovery. I will be looking forward in helping you, the best that I can

      Your fellow addict

      Gerald
