      Default New to TTF

I'm a recovering p addict, a married dad from the eastern U.S., and I just joined TTL. I've struggled with the addiction my entire adult life, and I've been in active, though imperfect, recovery for 7 years this month. I look forward to meeting everyone, and I wish you all a sober, serene day.

Welcome to TTF, your new home, with a new family, who are here and very willing, to help you with all that they can. As you come to this wonderful site to share with us, what you are going through in your recovery, you will have other members wanting to help you, and to make your recovery a lot easier for you.

Since you have been in recovery for some time now, you already do know the DO'S and DONT in this recovery, to get rid of this addiction. this time around, I am hoping that you can get a firm grip on this addiction, and finally get it out of your life. Being a addict myself, I do know just how hard it can be, to fight this addiction. As a 55 year old man, I have been in recovery for 9 months now, and I am still going strong. And I have had a problem with this crap, since I was around 12 years old. So being clean for 9 months after all of this time using, it just shows that it can be done.

I know how bad you want this gone, because you have been in recovery for 7 years now. By now, you should have found a way, to completely remove this addiction out of your life. To be honest, and you are still relapsing at times, it just shows me, that something just is not right in your recovery plans. There on two main things that will get you through this recovery, to get it out of your life.

You/We need a recovery plan, that works for us. and we need to work this plan, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

You/We needs to make sure this is 100% in our HEARTS, that we want to be free from this addiction. If it is not in our hearts 100%, well I feel, that there is no chance in hell, to have a good successful recovery.

So start with a new motivation to clean your life from this. we will be here to help you all we can I do wish you all the best my friend. you can and will do this, I am sure of it

      Gerald
