I guess Porn Addict Hubby has gone out of the forums business, but oh, I miss the support I used to be able to find there. I wonder if any of the old gang has come over to this site?

About my situation: I'm happily involved, deeply in love, with a seriously recovering addict. Our recovery is not problem-free, but I'd say we're well on the right track in terms of good intentions, working together, trying (and sometimes failing) at honesty. I should mention that I am somewhat more computer-competent than the average bear, and I struggle with snooping issues (but that is also improving).

Until recently, he had one secret outlet that he was using maybe once or twice a month (as far as I can tell). He gave that up, I really believe successfully, and I think he's 100% porn-free for about a month. Here is a new problem: he's begun picking neurotically at pimples (now sores) on his shoulders. I really believe it's a type of withdrawal from the mental comfort of the porn. He's always been a nervous nail biter, but this is new and a little freaky. Has anyone ever heard of a reaction like this?

      Welcome bathymetry!
I am glad you have come to give us a try! I am sure you will find all that you need here at TTF! It is an awesome place for healing and recovery and you will find many kind, caring and wise members here!
My H, Mac and I have been here for over a year now and we feel very blessed to have found our way here.
I encourage you to start a journal in the SO journal section.
I haven't heard of a reaction of this sort myself, but I am sure there are all kinds of issues for some people when it comes to withdrawing from P.
Wishing you all the best B! Keep coming back!!
Will your H be joining us as well? There are many recovering couples here. It is a good place for couples to share.

      bathymetry,
A very warm welcome to TTF. You will find a very large group of supportive caring SOs here to help you continue to heal on your journey.

I am the SO of a PA who has been clean since 2009. My H, ArtGuy34 is also active here. Like Jen, I encourage you to start a journal in the Partner's section. It's a great way to share your story with other SOs here.

      Find peace,
      ~C~
