Default It's time to end my addiction

      Hello, everyone.

I've been a P addict for about 8 months now. I've been trying to stop this addiction ever since I found out how bad of a sin it is. The sad thing is, I found out a bit too late. By the time I found out it was a grave sin, I was watching P 2-3 hours every day. My longest time without giving in to P is 2 and a half months, and I hope one day I can surpass that.

So, right now, I'm on day 1. I had a lot of temptations, but that's normal, I guess. Hopefully every day isn't going to be like this.

      Welcome Daniel!

Waking up to the reality of being addicted is the first step to freedom. You have found an excellent place here to rig up your defenses and strategies to get you through the short-term but intense struggles as the old habit tries to pull you back in, plus the longer-term strategies for winning.

As I've said many times, "Knowledge is Power!", avail yourself of the journals (both PA and SO) and the many interesting and useful topics in the general discussion forum. Also, start up your own journal to provide a two-way street for you to express yourself and allow others to come alongside and help.

      One minute at a time,

      Daniel

      Welcome Daniel
It is nice to see you here to get the most needed help in your recovery. I good thing about this addiction, even though it is a strong addiction, there is no reason that you can not beat this thing.
If you get yourself a good plan in order, and you work this plan, then you will have this thing beat. You can never under estimate the power of this addiction, because it can sneak up on you at any time.

So NOW is the time that you do all that you can to get all of your tools, weapons ready, to fight this fight.

I do wish you luck in your recovery, and I will do what I can to check up on you to see how you are doing.

Please start your own journal, and write in it as much as you can, so we can see where we may give you a hand , and help you the best we can

You can, and will, beat this thing
