      Default Hello Everyone

I'm new here, as in I just officially signed up but I've read a lot of the posts. I have been in recovery for a few months now and I've been clean just shy of two weeks. My SO left me back in February to go to her parents and sort things out and she's due to return in a little over a week. We've been through a lot since she left but I think now we're definitely in a place where we are both healing. I look forward to meeting everyone and I hope to hear from you all sometime.

Welcome, FML! Glad you're here. Maybe your SO will join us, too? There are a lot of couples here, and working together to heal can be a very good thing.

      Welcome to TTF.
First I am glad to hear that you have just about two weeks clean in this addiction. this is a good start in your recovery. You are in a good place by being here, because we do do what we can to help you and support you alone the way.

The one thing that I want to encourage you to do, is to make sure that you have a plan that will work for you. If you do not have one that will work for you all the time, then you are sure to fail in your recovery. you need to make sure that you have plans in what you are going to do, when the urges come to you.

As you may already know, this addiction is not easy to overcome, but there is no reason that you cant beat it, if it is in your heart to do so.

I encourage you to soon, start your own journal here, and let us all know how you are doing. this is the only way that we will be able to see what we can help you with

I wish you the best in your recovery. You can do this my friend, and remember, that you are not here alone

I Encourage all who think they need it, to please give SAA meetings a chance.

Thank you for your reply. I wasn't expecting anything that fast.
I already have a plan in place and I have a journal that I just started. My overall plan is in my journal. I have no desire to fail at this and even before my last slip I had way more days clean than not. I like to believe my life is my own and addiction doesn't fit in with that.
