Hello everyone, I am a new member to this site. I have been an addicted for over a decade from what I can gather. It is now starting to have a big impact on my marriage. I look forward to being part of a community of others similar to me looking for a common goal.

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply, but welcome! This community is the best place to be for beating your addiction and hopefully saving your marriage. I wish you all the best of luck and remember you now have all the best resources at your disposal! Here's wishing you a speedy recovery!
We do not want to do the work of helping you to believe in your humanity. We cannot do it anymore. We have always tried. We have been repaid with systematic exploitation and systematic abuse. You are going to have to do this yourselves from now on and you know it.

Welcome! This is a great place to be to fight this addiction. You'll find a lot of guys with a lot of good advice and friendly support.

I hope you'll start a recovery journal and let us know how you're doing.

      Wishing you all the best!

      Alectron,

Welcome! This site is definitely the right place for sharing this journey with others who have come to the realization that they are in trouble. I have tried many times to get free from this addiction, and I know how easily I slip back into it. I do not believe that God wants any of us to be trapped in the thoughts and behavior that have had such a grip on me.

Welcome Alectron and sorry for such a late hello if I would have caught you on your 1st day (St Patrick's Day) it would have been... Top of the Mornin to yah!. Congratulations on being here, it's a big step in the right direction. Read around in the recovery journals so you get to know some folks here at TTF and then you should start your own journal so we can learn more about you and you can learn more about yourself as well.
