      Hello everyone,

I am a new PA to this site. I found this site several months ago, but kept it on the backburner until now. I have been looking at p for 8-10 years and it has taken control over part of my life. I'm serious about quitting and have learned how impossible it is to quit on my own. This site has such an amazing support group, and i hope to one day provide the kind of support i have seen on here. Thank you for existing. I will be starting a journal so look for me there if you would like to follow my story.

Ijust want to welcome you here to TTF. I will just wait until I see your journal started to leave a post. This is the best place to be though for your support hat you will need.

Welcome Ski....Try and visit us at least once a day. Usually people seem to gravitate to either early morning or at night.

Whatever time you find comfortable for you, it is the right time and let it be an uplifting experience. And it is ALWAYS here in moments of weakness.

      welcome ski -

i am new and had seen this site a year or so ago as well - like you i can't express how much i appreciate the site being here - i am still figuring out the site - could be more user friendly, but as the week goes on i am figuring it out more -

Welcome. I hope you find this site as useful as I do.

I can recommend writing a journal. It can be a release when you're finding it difficult, but it's also interesting just to go back and see how your ups and downs have gone. You will have downs, but if you can resist P, the down will pass (or at least it does for me).

I would also recommend looking at some of the posts from SOs (significant others - wives, girlfriends, etc). When I see the suffering that they go through, it makes me far less inclined to look at P.

      Anyway. Good luck.
