      Default Hello TTF Community

I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I was introduced to P when I was probably 11 or 12. I own, of all things, an Internet Marketing firm where I'm on the computer by myself several hours everyday. I really want to break the PA and get out from under the control of P in my life. It affects my mood, my relationships and my relationship with God. I look forward to the journey with help from members and also helping them as well with information I know.

      Welcome my friend to TTF.

TTF is here for people like you and me, who are very tired of having Porn controlling our lives. It is not an easy addiction to break, but it can be done. All we need to do, is to be determined in out Hearts, that we no longer want this in our life. We all need to make so many changes, in order to free ourself from this.
We need to make steps in our life so we can get rid of this monster.Whatever it is that makes us to want to view, we need to change. We need to know that when we get urges to look, that it may mean to step away from the computer, so we dont start clicking away. This even means that we may need to install filters on our computers, so we cant get to those sites that we like. We just need to finds way, to allow us to be triggered to view. The one thing about this addiction, is that it is ALWAYS around us. It is a very sneaky thing, and loves to come to us, when we least expect it. All it takes is a TV show, A billboard sign, A magazine, or just a Beautiful woman walking down the street, to set a trigger for us to want to go home and view. So we need to be very careful in all everyday activities to beat this sneaky monster.

No one here can cure you from this addiction. But this is something that you need to do, to beat this thing. But, what we can do for you, is give you the much needed Support, AND Encouragement that is need to fight this. Come here to TTF, as often as you can. Read from here what others are going through, and what they have done to try to overcome this problem. Apply what you read in to your every day life. make the needed changes to rid yourself from Porn.

It is not an short and easy road. It is a Long road, with many Bumps, and Potholes in it. But as you progress in your recovery, this road can and will get a little smoother for you to travel on.

You are so right in this statement that you made about P.
It affects my mood, my relationships and my relationship with God.

It will affect, and Destroy all that you love.

Good luck to you in this journey. Just remember, that you are not here alone. We are all here, because we need to fight this. And we can fight this together

I agree with In Need of Help: you are wise to come here. I'm going to send you a private message and offer to be your accountability partner, which you mentioned in another post. Good luck, my friend, and welcome to TTF!

      When I'm humble and grateful,

I realize that there is a big hole in my soul.

I used to try to fill it with porn,

      but now

I fill it with loving kindness,

      Sobriety date: February 4, 2010.
