Welcome to TTF. We are very happy to see that you came here to continue in your recovery. You will be very happy that you decided to come here. TTF, with all the support i get from here , has proven to be a very big reason for be to stay sober for 55 days.

With the support of my Beautiful SO, ( who has given me one last chance), TTF, And my wonderful SAA meetings, I know I will overcome my very sick addiction.

Good luck too you with your recovery. We will give you all the Encouragement, and support that we can.

I'm sorry that this thing dogs you still, but there is freedom in your future. I acted out for a good 12 years, futilely trying to stop. When I look back, this was the only path for me. Some day you will do the same. Just keep putting your feet on the path. It truly is a journey.

And while you're traveling, please realize what an awesome creature you are. I know that in your religion, you believe God loves you absolutely. There is no reason you shouldn't feel that way about yourself. God knows all your problems and still loves you absolutely.

This was something that was so hard for me. I felt rejected by God because of the things I did. The whole time, God was trying to tell me it wasn't true and that I was creating my own world, but I couldn't hear. That's OK. I had to learn it in my own way.

I believe a belief system is an integral part of this journey. If you can't talk about it, then you can't recover. There's no way to separate them. You should express the things that inspire you. If that's religion, then fine. Who is anyone else to tell you that's not a part of who you are?

Hey, Rouby, glad to see you here too. Yes, having more resources is a good thing for our arsenals against our mutual plague.

I am sorry to read of your recent lapse. But I know that you can do this and that recovery is yours for the grasping, holding and securing. And I think I also know you well enough to say that if you don't "cowboy up" and start "flying right" that I will come and apply my boot for your backside! LOL But seriously, I will be watching, so behave. :)

Mike, it is your story that makes me hang on as much as I do. Although I am now at 13 years, I still always believe that my path will take me to where yours has taken you.

I kind of feel bad for sounding like I am leaning on this new family for support. I know that I must be the one to do the things that I need to do, yet the support in just this first day has been the very thing I needed.

Wow, so many friends from NP to stop and offer support, not to mention the community here from TTF. I just hope I can offer as much encouragement as everyone else here has.

I have a really good feeling that this is the place for me and like In Need of Help states that the support here is integral for his own recovery.
