Default Hello from SO of Grasshopper

At long last I am on here. Thank you Jenmac for helping with that today.
GH have been through a rough couple of days, the closest we have ever come to giving up. Even though it was to be a separation with a view to working on things together, and hopefully reconciliation it would have been a step that would have changed our relationship irrevocably. So I will start an SO journal today.
A special hello to the people who have been following GH recovery and posting so supportively. For me reading the parallel expieriences of so many others is uplifting and terrifying. Such a lot of work to do on healing, no guarentees, just work, no fanfares, just work and hopefully some peace of mind, spirit and life. I am looking forward to the experience

Yes!! I am so glad you are here Aloevera :)

I really wish you two the best. Your HB seems very genuine for change..also very insightful, and you sound like (despite this stuff) like you guys have a great family. I know how hard it is though! Tough. Gruelling. You are not alone!

I really hope that you can both heal through this forum and through all of our support as well.

I read for about a week before I joined...and I was daunted, inspired and absolutely horrified. The other stories so parallel my own and I was out there, on my own for years dealing with it all...thinking something was wrong with me for having a problem with all "this p business" that is "normal men doing normal things" (shyeah right!).

Anyway, I really hope you get some time to post a journal, it is so therapeutic and you gain so much support.

Welcome to the TTF family. :)

P.S Google chrome is the best browser I have found to use on here.

      Welcome AV...

What you said here is absolutely true. And to get to peace to peace of mind, spirit and life...it takes time.

I know for me I wanted it quickly and it all taking time was sometimes frustrating for me. Still is sometimes and I am still on the road to recovery. But like I said recently...healing cannot happen from 0 to 60 in 60 seconds. Healing comes during the journey...one step at a time. I have come to find out - that its worth it!

I'm so pleased that you joined TTF. It is full of amazing and wonderful people who will help and support you, and give you encouragement along the way.

You may already know from reading over the past week...that you are not alone.

Keep coming back, AV...and I wish you all the best and lots of hugs during your journey! >:D<
