Default Logon, then visit this site before any others

      Hello All

As a relatively new user myself, I wanted to highlight one of the key attributes this site offers.

To be honest, I have had relapses since joining this site a couple of months ago, but I wanted to briefly talk about a powerful, positive trend that has been developing for me.

Over the last couple of months, I have turned the computer on either intending to act out, or have inadvertently found my way to some of my old P sites.

On a few occasions now however, even if I have started with that intent, I have forced myself to visit this site first.

THIS SITE CAN BE A POWERFUL TOOL.

On those occasions, just spending some time here, checking out threads, responding to others' battles, and learning more and more about the destruction wreaked by the P industry has been enough to disaude me from acting out.

I encourage everyone to make this site your home page, and every time you log on, regardless of your ultimate desitination, spend some time here first - it's a great investment.

Best of success to all in their struggle

      B9

      Good post Bombers,

I initially started coming to this site for a positive thing to do on the computer. It has now grown into a daily 'community' for me. I feel like I have made many friends here. I want to log in every day just to see how everybody is doing.

My computer is now used positively, instead of being the tool for my acting out.

I second that, it's a great idea. I used to tell my husband over and over, "It's only a tool if you use it".

This, of course, applies to us SO's too!

Bombers -that is excellent advice, thank you very much for putting it our for consumption -there's a good chance many of the newer members haven't thought of this as a tool to guarantee clean web use.

Also, when you feel like you don't want to start here, that's a Sure Signal that you need to badly!
