wanting to close this chapter of my life

Hi everyone,

well, here's me in a nutshell, I've lived quite an interesting life, and had to grow up very quickly. I became a christian about 10 years ago and put p and mb behind me but then a couple of years ago i found myself with a lot of responsibility and very little support, having to adopt a kid and run a ministry in my church. anyway it was during this time that i happened upon some p gmaes on the internet, at first unwittingly, then that old adrenalin rush kicked in and it became a regular occurrence, it's been 3 or 4 years now fighting with this thing back and forth.... but im in the frame of mind now where i want to put this thing behind me once and for all... i would really like to build a friendship with a sponsor and maybe sponsor in return, if i can just hit the 1year mark, then i can hit the 2 year mark... and then the 3 year mark... so yeah, that's me. glad to be here.


(p.s: im not in the ministry anymore, i left shortly after the problem developed also not having to look after the kid who went back to the mother)

Its good that you took your first step into quitting P, Can you tell us more about yourself?

Meanwhile, i could suggest of

1) Installing K9 filter in your PC?
2) Going back to a church to receive spiritual guidance, the reason is because you also need someone in real life to support you, usually the battle is harder(not impossible) if faced alone
3) Starting a journal, telling us about your life, telling us why you wanna quit..treat it as a diary but a encouragement diary of people supporting you

That's the best thing about this site, everyone on here is helpful, mature (mostly), and willing to support each other.

I had no idea that TTF existed prior to googling PA and finding it. It's been really beneficial to both myself and KOH and without it, I don't know where we'd be.
