      Default An apology

After poking around the forums for a couple days I feel somewhat ashamed of my situation as I compare it to some of the heart rending posts by those who have suffered far more than myself. I now realize that my behavior has not only victimized those in the P industry, myself, and all those who I now look upon as an object of my lust, but also each and everyone of you. Now let me elucidate this statement.

If there was no demand for P the industry would not exist. Every time I used P I gave my quiet consent and support fortifying the vice that has created the misery I see here. With every click of the mouse I added a little bit of mud to the quagmire that has dragged each and everyone of you down. I now see my mistake with greater clarity and sincerely apologize to each one of you.

      God Bless

      Hi ocja

Mate, we all have our own road to walk with our addiction. I honestly believe my pain, your pain, our SO's pain is unique in every single way. The main thing is that clarity that you mention. Some of us take years to achieve it. Don't beat yourself up just continue to stay out of The Beast's clutches.

      Hey ocja,

Unfortunately the industry will always be there. I like to consider those of us who recognize the problem as the enlightened ones. I can't imagine the number of people out there who need help but don't even know it. I think it is still a matter of public image. Even when celebrities struggle, it is scorned, then fades away - like we don't want to acknowledge it as an issue. But that's something that we cannot control. We just have to take care of ourselves and reach out to those who ask for help.

The past is the past and we cannot change it but we do have the opportunity to change our paths of life.

Hang in there and keep reading and posting.

That thought/realization is a great motivator for you when you are tempted in the future!
