I was watching MSNBC 'To catch a predator' last night while I was trying to go to sleep. All these guys who had had P and SA problems and decided to take it one step further... For most of them it was their first time stepping out of 'Fantasy' and into Reality. Many of them were married, with children. 1 Had a six year old daughter at home and was preying on a 13 year old. Another one had teens at home (didn't catch their gender) and still preyed on the 'supposed' 13 yr old...

One guy was very candid with the Reporter. Said he'd been caught up in the world of Fantasy S for over 10 years through P and MB....


All I could think was "Wow, look how easy it is to get caught doing something in your mind you've somehow justified as OK."

I've seen the show before, but it had a whole new meaning last night when I realized just how close to home it hit. What kills me is that these men have daughters, and they continue to do this type of behavior. Yet they know darn well if they ever heard of a guy preying on their daughter, that dude would be done. Why is it so hard to make the connection and for them to realize just how wrong this industry of P really is??

[IN NEED OF HELP]

I did not see the show last night, but I do watch them when they come on. it makes sick that theses men will do this, and yet like you said, they have kids of there own this age.

It is so very scary in what this addiction, can lead us addicts to do. every addict has there boundaries in what they will look at. but, as time goes on, and we become deeper in our addiction, the normal thrill is no longer that good for us. I am in no way saying that anyone one here, has looked at anything that is considered illegal. but in all fairness, if we was not here to get this addiction out of our lives, and we continued in this sick path, is it possible, that we could have engaged in this type of activity? Maybe?

I do not know the answer to this, and to be honest, I am just glad to see so many addicts getting help for this crap. I am just glad to see many getting the help so they never do know the answer to that question.

Now that I am free from this addiction for 10 months, it scares me now. it scares me, in what it will get an addict to do in there life. it scares me to even think about if maybe, just maybe, i was still deep in my addiction, and I needed a new thrill in it, that maybe, just maybe, that could have been me on that show. I can say from my heart, nope, that would never of happened in my addiction, but then again, while I was in my addiction, I had no control over me.

This is why, we need to help all who are addicted to P. we need to help them, before they do hit bottom, and do things, that they would swear, they would never do in there lives. So any addict who is reading this, if we do not have control over this addiction, it is time to get your ass in gear, and free yourself from it. if you don't have control over it, then maybe, it can control us enough, to go way beyond our boundaries
