      Default Books That Have Changed Your Life

      I thought it would be interesting to see what books others on this site have read in their lives that have had great influence. I will start it off. . .

      1. Alcoholics Anonymous

      2. The Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman

      3. The Laws of Spirit by Dan Millman

      4. As a Man Thinketh by James Allen

      Those are the ones I find myself continually reverting back to for inspiration and guidance.

      "A clean conscience is a soft pillow."

      Beyond a wholesome discipline,
      be gentle with yourself.
      You are a child of the universe
      no less than the trees and the stars;
      you have a right to be here.
      And whether or not it is clear to you,
      no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

      Well, I've only started my reading, but so far "Your sexually addicted Spouse, How partners can cope and heal" by Barbara Steffens has been an eye opener, to say the least. Everything I've felt for the past 10 years is FINALLY validated! I'm not crazy, I'm not hypersensitive, and I'm not being prudish.

      Until I started reading this book - I thought all of the above rang true for me. I'm so glad I found that book. The other one I'm reading "The Porn Trap" is helping me to understand from my SO's point of view how he is addicted and what it's doing to him. I just wish that he would see it too and decide to get some help...
