Question No TTF, What plans have you made?

Hello Fellow TTF'ers (not sure if that reads well)

You should all now be aware that the throughtheflame.org will be unavailable in the next few days (if you didnt know read this)

Being a recovering PA myself, TTF has become a significant part of my life, and I would as all our recovery paths and journeys require good proactive planning, I would be keen to hear what plans you have set in place for potentially no access to TTF for Several days?

Post within this thread and share you ideas and strategies, Perhaps this is the ideal time to make contact with a TTF friend/buddy or mentor!

Look forward to reading you plans.

      Many Thanks
      Admin2

Since I'm quite new here there are lots of threads I still want to read. I will save a couple of pages to read offline just in case...

I, too, plan to print out several threads that speak positive, hopeful words to me, I will keep a handwritten journal, Beanhead and I will probably talk/process more, I will participate more in my SAA online group. Being new, I have quickly come to need this forum and will miss it, even if for a short while.

Well kind sir thanks for that great thought...

Hopeful and I had talked the last time there was an outage and what if the site never came back... where would we be without our lighthouse Jen to guide us home from another safe journeys end or her able body assistant Mac to help us paddle through this river of life? ...or if not another kind word was heard from Kathy or a blunt and honest straight shot from her man Chas? ...if we never got another great thought from a Foolishly clever mind? ...what if the pouring out of tender kind hearted emotions from another Betrayedfamily was not shared again here at TTF and the story of my friend Mell was just left in limbo? ...or the Blues uplifting tale to be told? ...and what of the CupcakeMomma loose out there that we're all hoping the best for? and we're just getting to know Miss Y !!!

...we are all still IN NEED OF HELP and BelieveinHope so we would always search for that beacon from Crisodian to know we're stillandagain on the right path and although there's always HopeandDespair we will clang every tntang and check every Beanhead till we found our way home to TTF!!!

But not to worry folks because now that I have seen this Mod squad team in action I have every bit of confidence that we will be back as strong as ever before because I've seen behind the scenes and most importantly... I have Hopeful and you all will too when we return! :)

I am actually a member here because my previous board home was NP. I am still active there.

The simple answer is I will just spend all of my time at NP. However, I have been thinking...I KNOW I am addicted to these boards. I think I am going to try and break my dependence on the board during that time- kind of like a fast.

I am sure come a few days after the upgrade, I will be back here as I am now...

This is a good question to ask. I was thinking about this before I even saw this post. I have been missing in action a lot here in the past 10 days, only coming on for a few minutes at a time. But I can see, that for me, I need to stay on top of things in my recovery, and being here is my main source that I come to, and need. I have seen that in the past days that I haven't been here, my recovery just hasn't felt as strong as it should be.

I read so much about Recovery Nation from members here, so I think this would be the best time to check it out, and maybe do some much needed work there. I also have already copied a lot from here to word, so I can keep up with reading things from here.

It is good that you brought this up, many think that they can go a while without this wonderful site, but I feel that you will see that you need it, once we cant get to it. so it is best to prepare for it now, before it is to late.
We need to remember that this beast that we are fighting, loves things like this, when we can be in our recovery the way we should be, so that means, it is a great time for him to try to slip in to our hearts, and get to us at a weak point.
It is only for a short time we cant come here, but now is when we need a good back up plan in store for us

It certainly is going to strange not to be able to come on here and see everyone. Maybe we should look at it like it's going to be a good time to get back to those projects we have pushed aside and at least finish one of them.

I know I have plenty of them, lol. I am determined to finish at least one of the afghans I have started. Rock's off this week and hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can get some outside work done, heck...nothing got done last year so there's plenty to do!!

Myself, I have my Hopeful and will be talking her ear off but she's got two of them so she'll be allright! ...but also I plan on carrying my small little journal around with me and writing in it more... then when we get back I can copy those thoughts over to a few posts in my TTF journal... sorry, my new improved, upgraded journal that is!

PS. you could always use the extra time to start the "Love Dare" book?
